The Calvados cask, together with the use of triple the amount of koji rice in the brewing process results in a high level of umami.
This particular sake has a medium-sweet profile expertly balanced by its crisp, high acidity. Slightly lighter aromatics and flavors than other X3 products.
Expect to encounter notes of honey, caramel, nuts, candied fruit, dried apple, and spice in this sake.
